Dr. Alison Guliano PT, DPT, OCS
Dr. Alison Guliano is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy who specializes in orthopedics, the spine, and sports-related injuries. After sustaining multiple sports injuries, Alison was inspired to give back to her community by helping others get back to the activities they love most. She is passionate about creating personalized plans to help her patients reach their movement goals. Throughout her career, she has gained certification in trigger point dry needling and has completed the Highbar Orthopedic Residency program.
In her free time, Alison enjoys exploring all the state parks in Rhode Island, going to farmer’s markets, and spending time outside. As a former soccer and softball player, she likes to stay active by hiking and skiing. You can usually catch her watching the Red Sox, Boston Bruins, and USWNT soccer games.
"I love being a physical therapist because I can help to develop personalized goals for people to maximize their potential. After having recently having my own baby, I have become truly passionate about advocating for women's health and enhancing movement goals during pregnancy and in the post-partum period. I am an advocate for maintaining fitness throughout the lifespan and am especially excited about using my background in orthopedics and applying it to women's health."
