Highbar - Westerly is located next to the bowling alley in the Granite Street Shopping Center in Westerly. This clinic features an open floor plan with large windows that allow lots of natural light. We offer specialty care for golf injuries and conditions, but are also able to treat any pain or limitation related to movement. Our clinicians are committed to maintaining a fun atmosphere so you can feel like you’re supported, a part of the family, and motivated to get back to the life you love.

Mary-Anne Sousa is the Clinic Director at our Westerly clinic. Mary-Anne's specialties include orthopedics, sports injuries, balance and falls, aquatics, and vestibular
Outside of work, Mary-Anne enjoys soccer, golfing, surfing, snowboarding, rollerblading, hiking, country line dancing, and spending time with her two fur babies.
Clinic Director Josh Ambeau is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who specializes in orthopedics, sports-related injuries, running, and football. He is passionate about helping his patients achieve their movement and function goals to become the best versions of themselves.
Originally from Baton Rouge, LA, Josh enjoys brewing his own beer and supporting the New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers. He keeps active by running, skiing, and spending time outdoors. Josh resides in Hopkinton, MA with his wife Emily, and their dog Lucy.

Dr. Alison Guliano is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy who specializes in orthopedics, the spine, and sports-related injuries. After sustaining multiple sports injuries, Alison was inspired to give back to her community by helping others get back to the activities they love most. She is passionate about creating personalized plans to help her patients reach their movement goals. Throughout her career, she has gained certification in trigger point dry needling and has completed the Highbar Orthopedic Residency program.
In her free time, Alison enjoys exploring all the state parks in Rhode Island, going to farmer’s markets, and spending time outside. As a former soccer and softball player, she likes to stay active by hiking and skiing. You can usually catch her watching the Red Sox, Boston Bruins, and USWNT soccer games.

After having recently having my own baby, I have become truly passionate about advocating for women's health and enhancing movement goals during pregnancy and in the post-partum period. I am an advocate for maintaining fitness throughout the lifespan and am especially excited about using my background in orthopedics and applying it to women's health."
