Highbar - East Providence is located inside the Brown Medical Building on Wampanoag Trail in East Providence. This clinic features a large open floor plan with lots of natural sunlight and three private treatment rooms. With clinicians that specialize in athletic training, pelvic floor physical therapy, and pediatrics, we are ready to help you reach your movement or function goals. Our staff considers themselves lifelong learners and are always looking to find new ways to help you feel better, move freely, and live fully.
Meet the Team
Clinic Director: Dr. Leah Katsos PT, DPT
Dr. Leah Katsos is a Clinic Director and Doctor of Physical Therapy who specializes in orthopedics and women's pelvic health. She is passionate about empowering her patients to seek their fullest potential without limitation by physical, mental, or emotional ailments.
Leah directed a health and wellness program that focused on nutrition, exercise, and mental resiliency to high-risk teens in New York City from 2012-2014, utilizing a holistic approach to health. She went on to spend the next 5 years working in outpatient physical therapy as an Exercise Specialist and in administration from 2014-2019. These experiences led to her clinical expertise in orthopedics and pelvic health.
Amanda Moran ATC, LMT is a Certified Athletic Trainer who works with East Providence High School and our East Providence clinic. During high school, she fractured her ankle playing softball. This piqued her interest in the field of rehabilitation, which led her to a career in athletic training. She loves helping athletes go from a very low point to then regaining their strength and returning back to their sport.
Amanda also helped the East Providence High School receive the 1st team Safe School Sport award (May 2016-2019). Most recently, she completed the Highbar Lead the Way program.
In her free time, Amanda likes cooking new recipes, reading, and biking. For over 10 years she has participated in the MS 150 Bike Ride, raising money for multiple sclerosis.

He loves that he can help people recover from injury, improve their function or quality of life, and help patients return to the activities they love.
He is also a Clinical Instructor for PTA students and a mentor at Highbar and East Providence High School. He has volunteered as a coach with Riverside Little League, St. Luke Soccer, and the American Youth Soccer Organization.
When he’s not in the clinic, Lance loves spending time with his wife, Jennifer, his 2 children, Emily and Alex, and his dog, Milo. He enjoys staying active by skiing, golfing, boating, and hiking, but is always looking for places to travel for his next adventure!

Holding a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from MCPHS University, Marcotte boasts dual certifications in Neurologic and Orthopaedic Physical Therapy. His diverse expertise includes certifications as a Blood Flow Restriction Rehabilitation provider, an ImPACT Trained Physical Therapist, and proficiency in whole-body dry needling. As a clinical instructor, he has mentored five Physical Therapy students, emphasizing his dedication to education and mentorship. Marcotte derives great fulfillment from contributing to patients' recovery stories, whether it involves post-stroke mobility or returning to sports and daily activities after surgery.
